For the 26th release in the NYZ subcatalog, Psoma is pleased to offer the public HYDR SYNF2 - the second session of drone research using the extensive architecture of the Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth.
Being unable to praise this machine highly enough, Burraston has again absorbed himself fully in coaxing the pulsing sonic depths of the Hydrasynth to bring us this latest report. Feeling and following the pulse is a definitive aspect of this session, which is populated with a few foaming waves here and there, moving us around the map enough to see from different vantage points.
HYDR SYNF2 continues the rich lineage of NYZ recordings at Psoma, and would easily appeal to fans of his prior drone-focused work with pointed soundwaves, such as the Cell Meditations, PMFM or PPLZ SYNF. As always, the digital release offered here is a FREE abridged version of the full 73-minute recording, which has been made available on the limited CD-R edition. Listeners who would like to acquire the full recording in a digital/streaming format are encouraged to visit Noyzelab's personal Bandcamp page and support his work there:

NOTE: After some confusion from listeners, we'd like to make clear the fact that all NYZ/Noyzelab catalog releases at Psoma are available ONLY as abridged digital versions for name-your-price/free download, and in their full unabridged editions as physical CD-Rs. There is not an unabridged digital version of anything from NYZ at Psoma, and the physical editions do not ship with unabridged digital versions either (that is, if you do not count the digital music present on the compact discs). For listeners only interested in unabridged digital versions, we encourage you to visit
noyzelab.bandcamp.com to purchase those directly from NYZ, or even better, subscribe to his Bandcamp output and just get everything.
